Born Again: Season One
TV · 2025 · Phase Five
Years after hanging up his Daredevil mask following a personal tragedy, blind lawyer Matt Murdock has rebuilt his life around his law practice in New York City. His fragile peace collapses when Wilson Fisk, the crime boss once known as Kingpin, wins election as mayor and begins quietly reshaping the city's institutions to serve his own empire, starting with a redevelopment scheme in Red Hook. As Fisk pushes an anti-vigilante agenda through the NYPD, Murdock is drawn into defending a young vigilante known as White Tiger and tracking a killer called Muse, forcing him back toward the Daredevil identity he tried to leave behind. Old allies and enemies resurface, including Frank Castle, as Murdock and Fisk's private and public lives increasingly collide. The season builds toward a direct confrontation between the two men once Fisk's authoritarian control of the city and Murdock's double life become impossible to keep separate.
