Spider-Man
Brand New Day
Film · 2026 · 145 minutes · Phase Six
Four years after Doctor Strange's spell erased Peter Parker from everyone's memory, Peter keeps his distance from MJ and Ned and spends his days alone protecting New York as Spider-Man. When a telepath starts hopping between bodies to break Mac Gargan out of a Department of Damage Control prison, Peter's powers begin to evolve, giving him organic webbing and sharper senses. The telepath turns out to be Jean Grey, a young mutant hunting for her sister Sara, whom Damage Control experimented on and killed. Peter enlists Frank Castle and Bruce Banner, and in a showdown on Roosevelt Island Jean freezes everyone but Peter in a psionic field, where a shared memory of Aunt May lets the two reconcile over what they have lost. Castle takes a bullet meant for Jean, who keeps him alive with her powers. Recovering in hospital, Peter resolves to stop working alone, and a chance meeting with Ned, who returns their secret handshake, hints that the spell may be starting to wear off.
