Daredevil
Season 3
TV · 2018
Matt Murdock survives the collapse that ended The Defenders, but is left broken and half-convinced that God has abandoned him, so he hides in a convent while he recovers and wrestles with his faith. Once he heals, he returns to a Hell's Kitchen where Wilson Fisk is manipulating a deal with the FBI to win release from prison and move into a luxury penthouse, while rebuilding his empire from the inside. Fisk also recruits the unstable FBI agent Benjamin Poindexter, a gifted marksman whom he shapes into a ruthless assassin who impersonates Daredevil. Matt's friends Karen Page and Foggy Nelson are pulled into the fight as Fisk turns Poindexter on them, and Foggy's decision to run for office and Karen's discovery of Fisk's schemes bring them into mortal danger. Matt ultimately confronts Fisk in a brutal finale, forcing him back into prison, and then stops a rampaging Poindexter, who is left badly injured but alive in custody. Matt reconciles with his friends and begins to embrace the Daredevil identity again, with Foggy and Karen now knowing the full truth about his secret.
