Marvel Cinematic Universe · Daredevil: Born Again: Season One
Heaven's Half Hour — S01E01
TV · 2025 · 58 minutes · Phase Five
Matt Murdock celebrates with law partners Foggy Nelson and Karen Page and NYPD detective Cherry at Josie's Bar, marking how far they've come since reopening Nelson, Murdock & Page. The celebration is shattered when Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter, unmasked as Bullseye, attacks the bar and kills Foggy. An enraged Matt dons the Daredevil suit and nearly beats Dex to death, throwing him from a rooftop in full view of Cherry, who now knows Matt's secret identity. The story then jumps forward a year: Matt has hung up the mask and co-founded a new firm, Murdock & McDuffie, with former ADA Kirsten McDuffie, while Karen has relocated to San Francisco and Dex sits in prison serving a life sentence. Meanwhile Wilson Fisk, having gone straight, launches an anti-vigilante mayoral campaign, and a tense meeting between Fisk and Murdock reestablishes their rivalry on new terms. The episode closes with Fisk winning the election and confronting his wife Vanessa over her affair.
