Marvel Cinematic Universe · Daredevil: Born Again: Season One
Art for Art's Sake — S01E07
TV · 2025 · 50 minutes · Phase Five
Heather Glenn finally holds the therapy session with her unsettling new patient, Bastian, that was set up back when he approached her at a book signing. As the session unravels, a nosebleed signals Bastian's break from control, and he reveals himself as the serial killer Muse, trapping Heather in her own office. Matt Murdock, back in the Daredevil suit, crashes through the window and delivers a brutal beatdown to Muse, but it is Heather herself who ends the fight, shooting Muse dead with his own gun before collapsing from blood loss. She survives, but is left traumatized by having killed her own patient. Wilson Fisk learns of Daredevil's direct involvement in the confrontation, then holds a press conference falsely crediting his anti-vigilante task force with killing Muse, deliberately omitting Daredevil's role to turn public opinion against masked vigilantes.
