Marvel Cinematic Universe · Daredevil: Born Again: Season One
Excessive Force — S01E06
TV · 2025 · 42 minutes · Phase Five
A masked serial killer calling himself Muse is terrorizing New York, posing his victims' bodies as gruesome street art, and a private investigator named Cherry pushes Matt Murdock to hunt him down. Angela Del Toro tells Matt that her uncle was investigating a string of disappearances before he died, and asks Matt to pick up where he left off. Matt finally dons the Daredevil suit again for the first time this season, tracking Muse through the city while Wilson Fisk's administration pursues its own campaign against vigilantes. Muse abducts Angela's ally Ava Nakamura (White Tiger) to use as his next canvas, and Daredevil arrives in time to save her, fighting Muse directly. The episode marks Daredevil's full return to action and escalates the show's central conflict between Matt and Mayor Fisk's anti-vigilante crackdown.
