TV · 2025 · 39 minutes · Phase Five
On St. Patrick's Day, Matt Murdock visits New York Mutual Bank seeking a business loan for his law practice and meets assistant manager Yusuf Khan, who has to turn him down. A gang of armed robbers led by a man named Devlin storms the bank and takes everyone hostage, trapping Matt inside while Detective Angie Kim negotiates from outside. Using his legal training, heightened senses, and combat skills, Matt subdues one of the robbers in secret and cracks the vault by listening to its mechanism, only to discover the crew is really after a valuable diamond for a bigger player connected to the Five Families. When a SWAT tear-gas raid triggers chaos, Matt dons a borrowed red ski mask and brutally fights Devlin in the street; Devlin escapes disguised as a police officer with what turns out to be a fake diamond. The bottle episode closes with Matt anonymously returning the real diamond to Yusuf's desk the next day, earning himself a dinner invitation.
