Sic Semper Systema — S01E04

TV · 2025 · 52 minutes · Phase Five

Matt Murdock is confronted by Hector Ayala's niece, Angela del Toro, who is angrily convinced the NYPD was responsible for her uncle's killing, and his own investigation of the murder site turns up a bullet casing stamped with the Punisher's skull symbol. He tracks down Frank Castle to press him about others misusing his symbol, and Castle turns the confrontation back on Murdock, arguing he should have simply killed Dex/Bullseye for murdering Foggy Nelson instead of trusting the system to handle him. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk hits bureaucratic and gang-related snags on his Red Hook redevelopment project, his aide Daniel Blake drunkenly lets details slip to journalist BB Urich, who publishes them, and Fisk lets the leak slide with only a warning. In couples therapy, Vanessa reveals her affair with a man named Adam, and Fisk — honoring the letter of his earlier promise not to kill Adam while finding another outlet for his rage — has him imprisoned and tortured in a basement cell. The episode closes with Murdock quietly resuming his Daredevil training and the masked serial killer Muse claiming another victim.
