The animated anthology series returns for nine daily episodes (December 22-30, 2023), with Uatu the Watcher again narrating divergent MCU timelines drawn from a fresh set of "what if" premises. Standalone stories include Nebula being recruited into the Nova Corps, Happy Hogan defending Avengers Tower from Justin Hammer during a holiday party, and a banished, powerless Hela allying with Xu Wenwu against Odin. The season also continues threads seeded in the Season 1 finale: Captain Carter's ongoing multiverse journey and Kahhori's story lead into the final two episodes, where Doctor Strange Supreme returns as the central antagonist. The finale closes with the Watcher showing Captain Carter the new multiversal World Tree established at the end of Loki Season 2.
