What If... Strange Supreme Intervened? — S02E09

Doctor Strange Supreme brings Captain Carter to his Sanctum Infinitum and reveals he has been capturing "universe-killer" variants to feed the Forge, a device built to resurrect his destroyed home universe. Carter discovers Strange intends to sacrifice Kahhori to power the device and frees his other captive variants, who arm Carter and Kahhori for the fight. As the Forge collapses during the confrontation, Strange's demonic side is separated from him and he sacrifices himself alongside his monstrous counterpart to stop it. The Watcher returns Kahhori to her own universe and shows Carter that Strange succeeded in restoring his universe and reviving Christine Palmer, even though he cannot return to it himself. The season-two finale closes out the Captain Carter and Kahhori storylines threaded through the season.
