What If... the Avengers Assembled in 1602? — S02E08

Stranded in an Elizabethan-themed 1602 after being flung there at the end of the Hydra Stomper episode, Captain Carter teams up with Tony Stark and an outlaw band of Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, and Scott Lang to track down the source of a dangerous incursion threatening to unravel the timeline. Sir Harold "Happy" Hogan, acting on King Thor's orders, hunts Carter through the kingdom as she and her allies race to retrieve the Time Stone from within Thor's scepter to build a device that can pinpoint the anomaly. The trail leads to a shocking discovery: the amnesiac outlaw Steve Rogers among them is in fact the Sacred Timeline's own Steve, flung back to 1602 after striking the Time Stone during the Battle of Wakanda, and it is his displaced presence tearing the hole in time. Carter sets things right by returning Rogers to where he belongs, sealing the rift, and the episode closes with Doctor Strange Supreme's ominous arrival, setting up the season's two-part finale.
