Weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda Maximoff and a resurrected Vision are living an idyllic suburban life in the town of Westview, New Jersey, unaware their reality is shifting through decades of sitcom tropes. As cracks appear in the illusion, S.W.O.R.D. agents investigating the anomaly from outside discover Wanda has unknowingly trapped the town's residents inside a reality-warping "Hex" built from her grief over Vision's death. The season culminates in Wanda confronting the truth of what she has done and the emergence of her full power as the Scarlet Witch.
