In the season finale, Wanda battles Agatha Harkness for control of the Hex and to save her sons Billy and Tommy, whom Agatha has taken hostage, ultimately absorbing Agatha's power to defeat her while claiming the mantle of the Scarlet Witch. Vision faces off against the reconstructed White Vision sent by S.W.O.R.D.'s Hayward, restoring his memories through the Ship of Theseus paradox until White Vision flies off with them intact. With the threat resolved, Wanda dismantles the Hex, saying a heartbreaking goodbye to Vision and her children as the illusion collapses, then leaves Westview in seclusion, secretly studying the Darkhold and hearing her sons' voices calling for help.
