Seekest Thou the Road — S01E01

In Westview, hard-nosed detective Jet Cole (in reality Agatha Harkness under a false memory spell) investigates the murder of a woman found in the woods, discovering that a cursed book vanished three years earlier and every remaining copy has since been burned. That night a masked teenager breaks into her house, and she chases him down after he steals a photograph. FBI agent Rio Vidal arrives and forces Agatha to confront the truth: the dead woman is Wanda Maximoff, the town's memory-altering hex has finally broken, and Agatha has spent three years trapped inside her own fabricated identity. Waking from the spell, Agatha finds her powers gone and realizes Rio, an old flame with a complicated history, has come to collect on an old debt that may cost Agatha her life. The masked teenager is revealed to be Wanda's son Billy, searching for something of his mother's.
