TV · 2021 · Phase Four

After stealing the Tesseract during the Avengers' 2012 time heist, the 2012 variant of Loki is captured by the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that polices the timeline on behalf of the mysterious "Time-Keepers." Forced to help hunt down a dangerous variant of himself who is sabotaging the Sacred Timeline, Loki is drawn into a conspiracy that exposes the truth behind the TVA and threatens to unleash a multiverse of alternate realities. The season ends with the TVA's true master, He Who Remains, dead at Sylvie's hand and the Sacred Timeline branching freely for the first time.
