Marvel Cinematic Universe · Loki: Season One
Journey Into Mystery — S01E05
TV · 2021 · 49 minutes · Phase Four
Pruned and dumped in the Void at the end of time, Loki finds a ramshackle sanctuary run by fellow Loki variants — including the wise Classic Loki, the grandiose Boastful Loki, young Kid Loki, and Alligator Loki — who survive by hiding from the world-devouring cloud monster Alioth, and Classic Loki shares the story of his own path to this exile. Mobius arrives in the Void and reunites with Loki and Sylvie; when Alioth attacks, Classic Loki conjures an illusion of Asgard as a fatal diversion, allowing Loki and Sylvie together to subdue the creature through a joint enchantment, at the cost of Classic Loki sacrificing himself. In a non-linear cut, Sylvie confronts a free and still-powerful Ravonna Renslayer, who threatens to trap her in a memory loop, while Renslayer separately visits an imprisoned Hunter B-15 back at the TVA. Sylvie's stolen TemPad reaches Loki, who passes it to Mobius, opening a door back to the TVA for him to return and expose the organization, while Loki and Sylvie set off on foot toward the mysterious citadel at the end of time.
