Secret Invasion
Season One
TV · 2023 · Phase Five
Nick Fury, having spent years largely absent from Earth, returns to confront a decades-old promise he could not keep: finding the displaced Skrulls a new homeworld. A radicalized faction of Skrulls led by Gravik, tired of waiting and hiding among humans, plots to seize Earth for themselves by infiltrating the highest levels of human power. Fury reunites with Talos, Everett Ross, and Maria Hill to try to stop the coup before it triggers a war between Skrulls and humanity. Central to Gravik's plan is "the Harvest," a vial of superhuman DNA secretly collected from Avengers and other heroes at the Battle of Earth, which he uses to transform loyal Skrulls into powerful Super-Skrulls. It ends with Gravik's plot crushed but at a heavy cost, while G'iah takes the remaining Harvest for herself and emerges with newfound Super-Skrull power, leaving the Skrull people's future uncertain and setting the stage for their search for a new home to continue.
