Marvel Cinematic Universe · Secret Invasion: Season One
Beloved — S01E04
TV · 2023 · 38 minutes · Phase Five
G'iah recovers from her near-fatal injury, having gained Extremis-derived power, and reunites with Talos, who wants to seek President Ritson's help for the Skrulls rather than continue fighting the rebels. Nick Fury overhears the Skrull impersonating James Rhodes ordering Priscilla/Varra to kill him, then separately meets with the fake Rhodey and secretly plants a tracker in his drink. Fury also confronts and reconciles with Priscilla, who reveals she once swore an oath, to the dying woman whose form she took, never to harm the man that woman loved. Gravik's rebels stage an attack on President Ritson's motorcade disguised as Russian operatives, forcing Fury and Talos to work with British soldiers to extract the president. The episode ends with Gravik, disguised as a soldier helping the wounded Talos, stabbing him fatally in the chest; Fury, forced to prioritize the president's safety, drives off with Ritson, leaving Talos's body behind.
