Marvel Cinematic Universe · Loki: Season Two
Heart of the TVA — S02E04
TV · 2023 · 50 minutes · Phase Five
With the Temporal Loom on the verge of catastrophic failure, Loki and Mobius recruit Victor Timely to help repair it, and he and Ouroboros build a Throughput Multiplier meant to let the Loom safely weave branching timelines. Meanwhile, Miss Minutes shows Ravonna Renslayer a recording of He Who Remains' true history with her, and Renslayer and Miss Minutes try to turn the TVA's detained pruners against Loki's team, with only Brad Wolfe taking the bait. During a rescue effort Loki is forced to prune a time-displaced version of his own past self, and after Ouroboros disables Miss Minutes, Sylvie manipulates Wolfe into pruning Renslayer. The episode climaxes when Timely activates the Throughput Multiplier and is instantly destroyed by the Loom's temporal radiation, triggering a catastrophic explosion that threatens everyone at the TVA.
