The Whole World Is Watching — S01E04
TV · 2021 · 53 minutes · Phase Four
A flashback shows Ayo helping deprogram a traumatized Bucky in Wakanda years earlier, declaring him free of Hydra's control. In the present, with Wakanda demanding Zemo's arrest within hours, Sam, Bucky, and Zemo track Karli Morgenthau to the funeral of "Mama Donya," a refugee caretaker killed in an earlier raid. Sam confronts Karli directly and nearly reaches her with an appeal to abandon violence, but John Walker's reckless intervention shatters the moment. In the ensuing chaos Karli kills Lemar Hoskins, and a grief-maddened Walker publicly beats a Flag-Smasher to death with the shield in front of a crowd filming on their phones.
