Marvel Cinematic Universe · The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Season One
The Star-Spangled Man — S01E02
TV · 2021 · 50 minutes · Phase Four
John Walker continues his media rollout as the government-appointed new Captain America while Sam and Bucky, now reluctantly working together, intercept a Flag Smasher truck smuggling vaccines and medical supplies stolen from the Global Repatriation Council. Bucky takes Sam to Baltimore to meet Isaiah Bradley, a Black super soldier secretly experimented on and imprisoned for decades after the war, which shakes Sam's view of the shield's legacy, but Bucky is arrested outside Isaiah's house for missing a court-mandated therapy session. Walker bails Bucky out hoping to get him excused from therapy as too valuable an asset, but Dr. Raynor overrides him and insists Sam join the session too, and the two clash with Walker again in the process.
