Jessica Jones

Season 3

TV · 2019

Jessica Jones is back to taking ordinary private-investigator jobs while her sister Trish, newly empowered, acts as a street-level vigilante. Their paths cross with Gregory Sallinger, a charming and manipulative killer who believes he is serving justice and who sets out to turn Jessica's life and reputation against her. Jeri Hogarth, fighting a terminal illness, pursues the unscrupulous Dr. Karl Malus for a cure and pulls Jessica into her schemes, while Trish grows ever more violent and dependent on her powers, straining the sisters' bond. In the finale Trish beats Sallinger to death while he is in police custody being transported, and Jeri, whose scheming has been exposed and whose relationship with Kith has ended, helps Trish plan an escape abroad. Jessica confronts Trish in a final fight in which Trish stabs Jessica's hand; Jessica knocks her out and turns her in, and Trish is sent to the Raft. Jessica hands the agency over to Malcolm and considers leaving for Mexico, but ultimately stays in New York.
