Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Season 6

TV · 2019

A year after Coulson's death, with Mack directing S.H.I.E.L.D., the team splits in two. Simmons and Daisy lead a space crew searching for the present-day Fitz, who wakes from stasis aboard a ship alongside the Chronicom Enoch, while the Chronicom hunters Atarah and Malachi pursue the time-travel knowledge Fitz holds, until Malachi kills Atarah. On Earth, a man who looks exactly like Coulson, called Sarge, hunts people infested with Shrikes, parasites linked to the alien Izel, who is seeking ancient monoliths to open a portal for her kind. Sarge turns out to be Pachakutiq, a non-corporeal being in a Coulson-lookalike body who has absorbed Coulson's memories; in the finale he refuses Izel's alliance and Mack kills him. May kills Izel but is mortally wounded, and Simmons places her in cryo-stasis aboard the upgraded Zephyr. With the Chronicoms now threatening history itself, the team, joined by a Chronicom-built Life Model Decoy of Coulson, jumps decades into the past.
