What If... The Watcher Disappeared? — S03E07

The Watcher stands trial before a tribunal of cosmic beings — the Eminence, the Incarnate, and the Executioner — who accuse him of repeatedly violating his oath of non-interference across the multiverse. With his fate uncertain following his capture in "1872," Captain Peggy Carter, Kahhori, Storm, and Byrdie the Duck discover fragments of the shattered Observational Plane falling across realities and set out on their own to find a way into the Fifth Dimension to reach him. After their attempts to breach the barrier repeatedly fail, the team decides to recruit a villainous variant of Infinity Ultron, hoping his power can force a way through. Peggy confronts Ultron alone to make her case, but the Eminence intercepts and captures her before she can return to the others. Faced with Peggy's capture, Ultron ultimately agrees to lend his power to the team's ship, and the episode ends with the group poised to enter the Fifth Dimension to rescue both Peggy and the Watcher.
