The Past Is the Past — S01E06

TV · 2025 · 42 minutes · Phase Five

In the season finale, Riri Williams builds her most powerful suit yet for a final confrontation with Parker Robbins, a.k.a. The Hood, who has used the mystical Hood to place Ezekiel Stane under his control and turn him against her. During the fight, Riri realizes Stane's one exposed weak point is not bionic, and a well-placed kick to it breaks Parker's hold over him, forcing a hard reset. A freed but bitter Stane warns her "we're not done" as the battle against Parker continues, ending with Riri tearing the mystical hood from him and leaving him defeated, keeping the hood for herself. As she tries to leave the gang's hideout, she comes face to face with Mephisto, the entity the hood is truly bound to, who offers her a bargain — bringing the real Natalie back to life. The finale leaves the exact terms deliberately ambiguous, but Riri appears to accept, resurrecting Natalie as Mephisto's mark spreads across Riri's skin, while Parker, still alive, meets with occult expert Zelma Stanton to plot his next move.
