Marvel Cinematic Universe · Agent Carter: Season Two

A Little Song and Dance — S02E09

TV · 2016 · 45 minutes · Phase Two

Knocked unconscious by Joseph Manfredi's goons, Peggy slips into a vivid subconscious fantasy — a black-and-white film-noir set that blooms into a full 1940s musical number — in which Jason Wilkes, Daniel Sousa, Angie Martinelli, and Dottie Underwood press her, in song, to admit her true feelings for her two real-life suitors, while Edwin Jarvis appears only in a comic cameo urging her to "wake up!" — a cue Rose Roberts's dream-punch answers, before a jolt of the truck she's really being held in finally snaps her back to consciousness. Waking, Peggy pushes forward with a dangerous plan to save Wilkes from Whitney Frost and the all-consuming Zero Matter, even as Wilkes's own judgment grows increasingly unstable. Jack Thompson, caught between the SSR and Vernon Masters's Council, makes a move that threatens to blow up everyone's plans just as the season heads into its finale.
