Blade II

Film · 2002 · 117 minutes · Blade Trilogy

Two years after eliminating the vampire Deacon Frost, Blade continues his war on vampires alongside his weapons-master and father figure Whistler, whom he rescues and cures after two years of vampiric captivity. A new mutant strain called Reapers, led by the vampire Nomak, has emerged, feeding indiscriminately on vampires and humans alike and threatening to wipe out both species. Vampire overlord Eli Damaskinos brokers an uneasy truce, recruiting Blade and Whistler to work with an elite vampire strike team, the Bloodpack, to hunt down the Reapers before they spread. As Blade infiltrates vampire society to fight a common enemy, he uncovers Damaskinos's true plan for the Reaper strain and Nomak's connection to it. The alliance collapses into betrayal, culminating in a final confrontation between Blade, the surviving Bloodpack members, and Nomak.
