Trinity

Film · 2004 · 113 minutes · Blade Trilogy

Vampires led by the ancient pureblood Dracula, revived by a scientist working under the vampire nation, frame Blade for the murder of a human, turning the FBI and the public against him. During the raid on his hideout, Whistler sacrifices himself, detonating explosives to destroy his vampire research rather than let it fall into enemy hands. On the run, Blade allies with the Nightstalkers, a human vampire-hunting cell including Abigail Whistler and Hannibal King, who reveal that the vampire nation intends to use Dracula's pure bloodline to engineer a daywalker virus capable of wiping out humanity. The Nightstalkers instead develop a biological weapon to destroy vampires using Blade's own daywalker blood as a template. Blade and his allies confront Dracula and the vampire nation's leadership, defeating Dracula and deploying the virus against the wider vampire population.
