Ms. Marvel
TV · 2022 · Phase Four
Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American high schooler in Jersey City, an aspiring artist and devoted Captain Marvel superfan who feels out of place among her more powerful heroes. After a mysterious bangle passed down from her great-grandmother grants her the ability to generate hard-light constructs, she begins secretly using her new abilities while navigating family expectations, school, and a first crush. Her powers draw the attention of a covert government task force and the Clandestines, a group of interdimensional beings tied to her family's hidden past among the Djinn, forcing Kamala to uncover the truth of her heritage and her great-grandmother Aisha's fate during Partition. The season closes with Kamala fully embracing her identity as Ms. Marvel, ending on a cliffhanger in which she and Carol Danvers mysteriously swap places.
