Ironheart
TV · 2025 · Phase Five
Genius young inventor Riri Williams, fresh off building her own suit of armor during her time at MIT and her encounter with Wakanda, returns home to Chicago to chase her ambitions on her own terms. Struggling to fund her tech and find her place, she reconnects with old friends and falls in with Parker Robbins, a charismatic hustler moonlighting as the magically-empowered thief "The Hood." Their partnership pulls Riri into a criminal enterprise that pits her hard technology against genuine sorcery, and it's revealed Parker's enchanted cloak belongs to the demon Mephisto, who strips Parker of his powers after he reneges on their bargain. Grieving her late stepfather and best friend Natalie, and having refined her Ironheart armor into something more powerful than she anticipated, Riri ultimately makes her own deal with Mephisto in the finale, trading her soul to resurrect Natalie — becoming the first MCU hero shown striking a bargain with the devil.
