Marvel Cinematic Universe · She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: Season One
Whose Show Is This? — S01E09
TV · 2022 · 35 minutes · Phase Four
In the season finale, Jen is released from custody on the condition she never transforms into She-Hulk again, and the truth comes out that mild-mannered nice guy Todd Phelps is actually the online troll "HulkKing" who stole her blood in a bid to gain powers of his own. Unhappy with how contrived and villain-of-the-week the finale has become, Jen breaks the fourth wall, walks off her own show, and confronts Marvel Studios' AI-driven "algorithm" (a robotic Kevin Feige) to demand a better, more grounded ending. Back in her actual story, she gets to enjoy a normal family dinner with Matt Murdock, and Bruce Banner turns up to introduce his son Skaar. A post-credits scene shows Wong springing Emil Blonsky from prison to bring him to Kamar-Taj.
